Introduce of Diamond Wire Beads
There are two types of diamond wire saw, electroplated diamond wire saw and sintered diamond wire saw.
- Electroplate Diamond Wire Saw
At first, diamond beads were made by electroplating. The beads were made by electrolysis of diamond particles on metal support rings. They are very hard and sharp. Electroplated wire saw is very suitable for cutting marble. At the same time, it is especially suitable for cutting stone scrap with small curvature radius. Compared with sintered diamond beads, electroplated diamond wire saw has two advantages: one is to reduce driving power, only need 18kW motor; the other is to reduce the flow of cooling water (10-20L/min) and improve cutting speed.
- Sintered diamond wire saw.
It can cut various types of rock, including the hardest and wear-resistant stone. At the same time, it can increase the number of cutting per square meter and improve the service life of rope saw. The main part of the diamond beads is a sintered diamond ring. Its composition is similar to that of the diamond knife head on the saw blade and saw blade. Compared with electroplated diamond wire saw, sintered diamond bead wire saw has high economic advantages. Its service life is often twice that of electroplated diamond wire saw, and its technical conditions are superior. The cutting speed of sintered diamond wire saw is constant during its service life, but the sintered diamond wire saw needs at least 30 kW motor, and the cooling water flow is 20-50L/min, which is mainly determined by the size of the cut stone.
